What do you mean Premium Solution? There are off brand solutions that will work with a Mystic Tan unit. At A Better Tan we feel it is important to give you the best results, meaning a natural bronze color. With other solutions you can get that orange tone that doesn't look good on anyone. The Mystic Tan Premium Solution has a bronzer for immediate color.
How long will my Mystic Tan last? If you exfoliate before you Mystic Tan and keep your skin moisturized after, your tan should last approximately 7 days.
Why do I have to exfoliate? Dry skin absorbs the solution and these areas tend to look streaked. Over time, as your tan fades these areas will remain darker than the surrounding skin
Why can't I shower right after my session? Water, whether it is sweat, rain, bath or pool water it will wash off the Mystic Tan solution before it has a chance to develop
What do you mean "Develop"? The Mystic Tan solution contains DHA which interacts with the proteins in your skin to create the color tan color that you seek. It takes approximately four hours to fully develop.
What if I don't have 4 hours? A Better Tan Tanning Salons carries Hyper Tan. Hyper tan will reduce the wait by 2 hours!
Will the Mystic Tan Solution dry out my skin? Actually the Mystic Tan solution is 65% Aloe Vera -a natural moisturized that will keep your skin looking and feeling great!
Is DHA Safe? The FDA has approved of DHA as an external tanning agent for decades. You will find DHA as an ingredient in most bronzing lotions.
Will I turn Orange? No, our clients return again and again, in fact there have been over 20 million Mystic Tan sessions, so you know the color is right.
Will I smell? The reaction between the DHA and the skin will produce a starchy smell that will fade.
Will Mystic Tan stain my hair? No, it will wash out; however, A Better Tan Tanning Salons provides shower caps to wear during your session.
What if I get the Mystic Tan solution in my eyes? We recommend you wear goggles during your Mystic Tan Session. If you do end up with the solution in your eyes, you will be comforted by the fact that no adverse reactions have been reported.
